Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Review Officer to join an organisation based in Clapham, London.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Review Officer:

• Conduct and chair complex statutory homelessness reviews, ensuring legal compliance and fairness
• Provide independent oversight of homelessness decisions, challenging poor practice and systemic issues
• Ensure applicants’ circumstances and rights are fully considered in all review outcomes
• Monitor compliance with statutory timescales and procedural requirements
• Produce clear, robust, legally defensible review determinations
• Work collaboratively with housing, legal, and commissioned services to resolve complex cases
• Identify trends and learning to inform service improvement and policy development
• Provide expert advice, mentoring, and guidance on homelessness legislation and best practice

Essential Requirements of the Review Officer:

• Basic DBS
